The Structure of Thucydides' "History"

The Structure of Thucydides'

In a new and controversial interpretation of the literary structure of Thucydides history of the Peloponnesian War, Hunter Rawlings contends that Thucydides consciously divided the war into two parallel ten-year conflicts with a period of nominal peace in the middle. Originally published in 1981. The Princeton Legacy Library uses the latest print-on-demand technology to again make available previously out-of-print books from the distinguished backlist of Princeton University Press.
